VINTAGE AFTERNOON TEA IN THE WEST MIDLANDS AND WARWICKSHIRE

 

Are you having a baby shower, birthday party, family gathering, pre-prom party, or just a get-together for everyone to have a treat? Our afternoon tea is also very popular for wedding catering.

Many caterers provide afternoon tea, but the Sandwich Board also supplies the china, tablecloths and staff, all included in the cost. Enjoy the luxury of your guests being the only guests and have vintage high tea in your own home, or a location of your choosing.

Treat your friends and family, or share the cost for an afternoon of elegance.

Let us bring the vintage bone china crockery and tablecloths and dress your table for you.  We can set individual tables, or, if space is at a premium, set out buffet style (see picture above). Let us bring delicious savouries and sweet treats, so that you can indulge yourselves while we do all the hard work.  Oh, and we won’t forget the flowers for the table.…..

We stay and serve you (this is included in the cost). When you have finished, we will take away everything.  Could such a delightful occasion be any easier?  Choose from one of our cream tea menus (below) and let the afternoon begin …..

We are based in Solihull and travel to within ten miles is included in the cost. For further distances, we may have to add a small, extra travel cost; this can be discussed with you.

 

HOW OUR AFTERNOON TEA WORKS

We cater for parties of 20 – 100 people.  We arrive well before the official start time, dress the table with vintage china and cloths, and finish preparing the food while you entertain your guests.

When everyone is seated, we serve the tea, savouries and sweets.  We can then leave you to look after yourselves, or we can be on call (respectfully out of earshot!) for all of those teapot refills, and to make sure that you have everything you need.

At the end of the tea, we clear everything away.  If your event is in your home, we do all the washing up at our premises, so as not to inconvenience you. If your event is in a hired hall, we will do the washing up there if possible. We will leave everything just as it was before we came.

Should you want to continue the occasion, as it is your home, you can carry on for as long as you wish! Why not have a glass of wine or bubbly to round off the event?
